Training & Safety

Seeing as there are approximately 13 states left in our country that do not subscribe to the idea of their law-abiding citizens carrying concealed weapons, those of us living in Nevada are very fortunate because we can.

In order to do this legally and safely, Nevada requires approved training by approved instructors as well as any candidate passing the safety, legal, and shooting requirements before they will issue this permit.

What You Will Learn

• The correct and safe ways to handle a gun.

• What to do with deadly force.

• To shoot or not to shoot, that is the question.

• Nevada CCW law.

• How to buy a gun.

• How to keep your child safe at your home and outside the home.

• In addition to the NRA and State training requirements, Verdi Armory INCLUDES additional training which could very well save your life from an armed assailant.

Cost/Rates

We do individual and group classes at your location or our training facility. Our instructors are unassuming. The classes are serious, but enjoyable and even fun on occasion. It is extremely important you enjoy what you are learning and appreciate the seriousness of it; we guarantee that.

CCW individual rate is $300. Group rate of 2 to 5 is $175 each. Group rate of 6 to 10 is $130 each.

A CCW renewal is $130 each. If you had previously taken the class from one of our instructors, it is $100.

ADD ON: $10 per gun or the instructor’s time at $30 per hour portal to portal, whichever is best for our instructors.

Basic Gun Safety & Shooting: $300 per family (2 parents and children). Other than families, the rates are the same as the CCW rates.

HIDE class is $250 per training class.

Reservation deposits of $40 per person are required. Deposits are non-refundable, but with prior notification, may be used for a rescheduled class time.
